2019 Round-up!

What a year this has been! We have now moved to the University of Bern, all the fantastic labs are (nearly!) up and running (stay tuned for a full tour as we will officially open them in early 2020), David and Eimear have successfully defended their PhD and are now in Bern working on exciting new projects. Ana, Stefania, Valentina and Irene have also moved to Bern and have been incredible help in setting up all the new equipment in the lab.

I am ever so grateful to Maria and Nick that together with Lidia, Chris and Nourah are continuing to work in Nottingham making me proud of their work attitude and drive to do excellent work.

Our research is expanding, we are now looking at implementation of flow biocatalysis on larger scale for the preparation of valuable products and we are also extending the number of biocatalytic steps we can efficiently achieve.

Several new projects have been started, new collaborations established and old ones have been strengthened.

We are looking forward to 2020 and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
